Today, Michele and I joined hundreds of concerned beach lovers in Nags Head for the national "Hands Across the Sand" event to support clean energy. The event was organized by our local Surfrider Foundation chapter. The weather was perfect and the ocean could not have been more beautiful. For over a week the water has been clear and emerald green. This is in sharp contrast to the devastation of the beaches caused by BP's oil spill in the gulf. Once is enough!

Today, Michele and I joined hundreds of concerned beach lovers in Nags Head for the national "Hands Across the Sand" event to support clean energy.
